Kozy Hotel Dallas is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness standards. This hands-on leader motivates staff, communicates clearly, and maintains a positive, professional work environment.

You will lead room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff, coordinate workloads by occupancy, and conduct pre-shift briefings to set priorities and expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping leadership experience
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Ability to coach staff and maintain a positive team culture
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemicals

Responsibilities

• Lead and support room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff during shifts.
• Assign room boards, monitor progress, adjust workloads by occupancy.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings, communicate priorities and expectations.
• Train new team members on cleaning standards and procedures.
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas; report defects and ensure timely corrections.
• Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrections.
• Update Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership on room status.
• Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments.
• Respond to guest requests; stay calm and professional.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on work orders and room readiness.
• Monitor supplies; restock carts and closets as needed.
• Perform inventory counts and usage tracking.
• Maintain inspection logs, training checklists, and daily reports.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who motivates staff, communicates clearly, and maintains a positive, professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Support & Daily Operations
• Lead and support room attendants, housepersons, and laundry staff throughout the shift
• Assign room boards, monitor progress, and adjust workloads based on occupancy
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate priorities, updates, and expectations
• Assist with training new team members on cleaning standards and procedures
• Quality Control & Inspections
• Inspect guest rooms, hallways, and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance needs
• Document deficiencies and ensure timely corrections
• Verify room status and communicate updates to Front Desk and Housekeeping leadership
• Support deep cleaning projects and special assignments
• Guest Service & Communication
• Respond promptly to guest requests and service issues
• Maintain a calm, professional demeanor when handling concerns or escalations
• Coordinate with Maintenance on work orders and room readiness
• Inventory & Administrative Tasks
• Monitor supply levels and restock carts and closets as needed
• Assist with inventory counts and usage tracking
• Maintain inspection logs, training checklists, and daily reports

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
• Ability to coach staff respectfully and maintain a positive team culture
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safety standards
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
