Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assign rooms on a daily basis when the executive housekeeper is absent to be cleaned by room attendants.
- Inspect rooms that have been cleaned by room attendants and release them to the front desk when they are ready for the guest.
- Inspect public areas for cleanliness regularly and assign projects as needed.
- Ensure all lost and found items are logged and secured.
- Assist with the supervision and scheduling of Room Attendants, Laundry staff, and Public Area staff in accordance with staffing guidelines.
- Assist with training of new hires in specified phases of the housekeeping operation and maintain an ongoing training program for existing staff.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or at least two (2) years of previous experience as a room attendant or in a related field.
- Must be team oriented, empathetic, friendly, and show initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
