Job Description

Room Attendants are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hotel and guest rooms, and providing guests with quality service in a timely and friendly manner. They represent the hotel to all guests and complete daily duties and projects following the principles, policies, and standards of Hulsing Hotels.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Comply with all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Remove and replace bed linen daily for checked-out rooms; remake and replace linen for stayover guests.
3. Clean rooms thoroughly, including sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets as needed.
4. Dust all furniture and room elements, including picture frames, headboards, lamps, TV and console, dresser, desk, air vents, windowsills, chairs, closet areas, and mirrors.
5. Leave the room prepared for inspection after cleaning.
6. Immediately report any guest items left behind to the housekeeping manager.
7. Report any damages or unusual items in rooms to the Executive Housekeeper or Room Inspector.
8. Maintain professionalism, friendliness, and helpfulness in all guest interactions.
9. Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
11. Qualifications: High School Diploma or at least one year of experience as a room attendant or related field; hotel-related or customer service experience preferred.
12. Must be team-oriented, empathetic, friendly, and proactive.
13. Well organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
