Job summary

The Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott in the Brier Creek/RDU area of Raleigh is hiring for full-time Housekeeping Room Attendants. The shift runs 9am–5pm, with weekday and weekend availability required. Compensation is $16.00–$16.50 per hour, and we offer Daily pay after every shift.

Responsibilities include thoroughly cleaning guestrooms to standards, restocking supplies, reporting maintenance, and maintaining clean hallways and public areas while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods during shift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties (guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen for cart).
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs promptly.

The Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott, located in the Brier Creek/RDU area of Raleigh, is hiring for full-time Housekeeping Room Attendants. The hours for these positions are 9am-5pm; weekday and weekend availability is required.

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 20 lbs.
