The Courtyard by Marriott Matthews in Matthews, NC is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant for full-time or part-time hours. Day shifts required, with weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Prepare rooms with necessary supplies and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist with Lost and Found per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

The Courtyard by Marriott, located in Matthews, NC, is hiring for a full-time or part-time Housekeeping Room Attendant. The person hired for this position will work days; weekday and weekend availability is required.

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for “Lost and Found” according to the standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 20 lbs.
