Job summary

Wyoming Seminary Lower School in Forty Fort, PA seeks a dependable housekeeping assistant for a 12-month role, hours 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards across classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.

Qualifications

• Previous institutional or commercial cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and other school facilities
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with staff, students and vendors.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned

Wyoming Seminary Lower School is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join the Housekeeping Team. This housekeeping position is a 12-month support staff position reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor at Wyoming Seminary Lower School located in Forty Fort, PA. The working hours for this position is 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This individual provides cleaning and housekeeping duties that are necessary to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school campus.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk, lift, move and operate buffing, scrubbing, and other cleaning machines and equipment.
• Must be able to climb small step stools and balance at various heights, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
