Job summary

Waco Family Medicine seeks a dependable Housekeeping/Porter to keep patient areas, restrooms, and common spaces clean and safe. You will disinfect surfaces, stock supplies, transport trash, and report damaged fixtures. The role also supports building security and meeting setups, with a 4-hour shift schedule. A high school diploma and basic cleaning knowledge are required.

• Basic knowledge of chemical/cleaner use, surface types, safety protocol and cleaning equipment.
• Team player with great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect restroom and surfaces.
• Stock dispensers with supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Transport trash to dumpsters or collection bins.
• Report damaged fixtures, hardware or lighting.
• Clean up emergency spills.
• Wash walls or soiled furniture as needed.
• Provide back-up support for Director of Plant and other technicians.
• Assist with meetings or setups.
• Assist with building security needs (locks).
• Dry and wet mop floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets; spot removal as needed.
