Royal American Management is seeking a Porter to maintain the grounds of the assigned property in Gainesville, FL. Under supervision, you will water plants, mow, trim, and assist with exterior maintenance while adhering to OSHA safety policies.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate hand and power tools, and perform custodial duties as needed. Prior groundskeeping experience is preferred, with reliable attendance and communication essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain community grounds and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

• Paint exterior surfaces and clean or replace lighting fixtures as needed.
• Assist in custodial tasks and keep common areas tidy and safe.
• Follow OSHA safety policies and report unusual conditions to supervisor.
• Participate in standby emergency schedule and respond after hours when required.

Job Summary:Under supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Porter is responsible for maintaining the community grounds of the assigned property in an attractive condition. The Porter will be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) Standards and company safety policies at all times.Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:This is a description of the major responsibilities of this position. This is a summary and is not meant to include all activities that may be required to successfully perform in this job.Practice OSHA standards, company safety policy and stay aware of work-safety requirementsContinuing education of safety training as required by company and/or State and Federal LawComplete a hazard assessment form before beginning any taskWater any and all potted plants in community common areas daily.
