Job summary

Waco Family Medicine in Waco, TX is seeking a part-time housekeeping/porter to maintain cleanliness and safety. You will disinfect restrooms and surfaces, stock dispensers, transport trash, and report maintenance issues.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and strong teamwork and communication. Shift is day, 4 hours, outdoors/in indoors, with occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect restroom and surfaces.
• Stock dispensers with towels, soap, toilet paper, seat covers, etc.
• Transport trash to dumpsters or collection bins.
• Report damaged fixtures, hardware or lighting not working.
• Clean up emergency spills.
• Wash walls or soiled furniture as needed.
• Provide back-up support for Director of Plant and other technicians.
• Assist with meetings or setups.
• Assist with building security needs.
• Dry and wet mop floors as necessary.
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets; bacteria control and spot removal.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Disinfect restroom and surfaces
• stock various dispenser with supplies (i.e. towel, soap, toilet paper, seat covers, etc.)
• transport trash to dumpsters or collection bins
• report any damaged fixtures, hardware or lighting not working properly
• clean up emergency spills
• wash walls or soiled furniture as needed

OTHER DUTIES:

• provide back-up support for Director of Plant and other technicians
• assist with meetings or set ups
• assist with building security needs(i.e. keep locks working)
• dry and wet mop floors as necessary
• vacuum and shampoo carpets, bacteria control and spot removal when necessary
• other duties as assigned by supervisor
