Job summary

A prominent hotel in Pierre is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee operations of the housekeeping and laundry departments. The role includes ensuring cleanliness and customer satisfaction for hotel guests. Ideal candidates should have previous housekeeping and customer service experience and be attentive to detail. This position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You will foster a warm environment for guests while managing staff and operations.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other work areas.
• Strip linens from guest rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards.
• Refurnish the room with supplies and towels.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas
• Strip linens from guest rooms
• Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals
• Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards
• Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
• Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Housekeeping Experience Preferred
• Attention to detail
• Previous customer service experience
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
