Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to assist in managing all Housekeeping and Laundry functions and to support the executive Housekeeper in all areas of operations. Ensures Omni standards are met by monitoring quality and setting a high example.

The role requires supervising guestroom cleaning, assigning tasks, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring supplies and linens are available. Flex hours, holidays and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping in hospitality settings.
• Ability to multi-task and lead teams effectively.
• Strong guest-service orientation and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
• Assigns special assignments as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
• Reports repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
• Ensures supply levels and linens for GRAs.
• Assist in cleaning guest rooms when necessary.
• Assist in processing room status reports.
• Train Turndown Attendants and train staff as directed.
