Responsibilities

• Schedule, evaluate and direct housekeeping associates including room attendants, house aides, floor supervisors and laundry associates.
• Coach and counsel associates, providing disciplinary action when necessary.
• Help coordinate daily activities and plan for staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas.
• Review the Manager on Duty log and follow up as needed.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure QA program compliance.
• Ensure sufficient inventory of supplies and cleaning materials.
• Supervise daily operation of housekeeping and in-house laundry.
• Interview, hire and train new housekeeping team members.
