Job summary

Think Hospitality in Miami Beach is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead the Housekeeping and Laundry department in line with hotel standards. You will direct, implement and maintain a service and management philosophy guiding your staff and ensure guest satisfaction.

You will supervise senior staff, maintain interdepartmental relations, control costs, and contribute to the hotel's strategic plan. The role requires leadership, strong communication and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assistant Executive Housekeeper(s) to ensure guest and employee satisfaction.
• Monitor housekeeping staff to ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Maintain strong communication with Laundry, Engineering, Front Office and F&B.
• Identify training needs and implement programs.
• Schedule routine inspections of all housekeeping areas.
• Inspect guest and public areas to ensure cleanliness and condition.
• Control and analyze departmental costs to meet budget.
• Prepare the housekeeping department budget.
• Report shortages, damages and linen/uniform inventory to management.
• Maintain liaison with laundry to ensure service standards.
