Job summary

Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in managing the Housekeeping Department. The role ensures hotel facilities, guest rooms, and public areas meet the brand and property standards.

Responsibilities include planning cleaning operations, assigning daily tasks, training staff, inspecting rooms and public areas, and maintaining payroll and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in hospitality.
• Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and organizing the cleaning of all guests' rooms and public areas.
• Provide daily cleaning assignments to the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure staff are trained and follow service standards.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Monitor inventories and staffing levels to meet budgets and forecast.
