Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group seeks a hands-on Assistant Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping department for Le Meridien Element Salt Lake City Downtown. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel standards, coordinate daily cleaning tasks, and supervise staff to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hospitality expertise.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a supervisor or manager in hospitality.
• Knowledge of loyalty programs, brand standards and hospitality industry systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and organizing the cleaning of all guests' rooms and public areas.
• Provide daily cleaning assignments to the housekeeping staff.
• Ensure training and adherence to service standards and procedures.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards.
• Maintain key control system and track occupancy records daily.
