Job summary

The Barnett is a distinctive Hyatt-affiliated hotel in New Orleans’ Warehouse District seeking a proactive Housekeeping Manager to lead daily operations, supervise Supervisors, and ensure cleanliness, productivity, and service standards. You will drive training, assess performance, and foster continuous improvement while supporting a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hotel housekeeping, supervisory experience, and experience with HyGEO/Opera

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s in Hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience with HyGEO or Opera Cloud; Hyatt experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping operations and ensure departmental standards are met.
• Provide day-to-day supervision and coaching to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Assist with training, developing, and evaluating housekeeping staff.
• Maintain a hands‑on leadership presence and support operational needs.
• Promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
