Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is hiring a Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily housekeeping operations across 341 rooms and public areas. You will drive room-turn efficiency, staff allocation, and maintain Loews’ high guest-satisfaction standards while coordinating with other departments.

You’ll mentor a team, control labor costs, and ensure rigorous training and safety compliance. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, with Opera PMS experience preferred, in a vibrant Nashville

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required.
• Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time required.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet Loews’ exacting standards.
• Analyze room turns and staffing needs, making real-time adjustments to optimize performance.
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and maintain a pristine environment.
• Interview, hire, and mentor team members, fostering growth and engagement.
• Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges.
• Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned
