Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations on-site, ensuring rooms and public areas meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards. You will manage associates, labor, and departmental costs while upholding brand quality.

The role emphasizes interviewing, training, scheduling, and maintaining logs and reports, with focus on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of housekeeping experience in hotels, lodging, hospitals, housing, or care facilities.
• 1+ year supervising at least three associates.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, and guest-service skills.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn systems such as Quore and Hotel Effectiveness.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, coach, and supervise housekeeping and laundry associates.
• Assist with interviewing and hiring department associates.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and grounds for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Manage staffing and schedules within established labor guidelines.
• Maintain inventories and order necessary housekeeping and laundry supplies.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Oversee room key controls, safety procedures, and guest privacy standards.
• Conduct department meetings and ongoing associate training.
• Maintain required logs, reports, invoices, payroll information, and departmental documentation.
• Respond professionally to guest concerns and requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
