Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise housekeeping staff; plan schedules and assign duties.
• Lead pre-shift meetings; coordinate arrivals, departures, VIPs, and room assignments.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in hiring and onboarding new staff.
• Monitor productivity; recommend promotions or changes in status.
• Handle employee relations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Decide on materials, supplies, and tools to be used and stocked.
• Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Ensure compliance with safety, SOPs, and sanitation standards.
• Implement emergency procedures to protect guests and staff.
• Assign tasks to staff to ensure smooth operations and coverage.
• Manage inventory and control expenses while ensuring supplies are available.
