The position requires 5+ years of supervisory housekeeping/janitorial experience in a healthcare facility, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residents' units, and grounds.
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with guidelines and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for resident units and common areas.
• Scheduling the preparation of units for admissions.
• Conducting regular inspections and maintaining inventory control for supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
• Ability to hire your own staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public spaces, residents' units, and grounds
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with the department guidelines and assuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety standards, MSDS, OSHA, EPA and other relevant rules and regulations
• Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for both resident's units and common areas
• Scheduling the preparation of units for admissions
• Conducting regular inspection of all areas and maintaining inventory control systems for all supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel
• Ability to higher your own staff
