Serene Services in Midland, Texas is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead our facility's housekeeping department. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring full coverage and compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of supervisory housekeeping/janitorial experience in a healthcare facility.
• Previous housekeeping director experience preferred
• Leadership personality
• Must be knowledgeable of housekeeping practices, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to health care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating staffing schedules to ensure proper cleaning of offices, spaces, resident units, and grounds.
• Using cleaning chemicals safely and properly in accordance with guidelines and ensuring compliance with safety standards (MSDS, OSHA, EPA).
• Coordinating annual deep cleaning programs for resident units and common areas.
• Scheduling the preparation of units for admissions.
• Conducting regular inspection of all areas and maintaining inventory control for supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Scheduling and conducting training sessions and department meetings for housekeeping personnel.
• Ability to hire your own staff

Director of Housekeeping responsibilities include:

As the Director of Housekeeping you will be responsible to conduct the housekeeping department. This includes hiring and training staff. Ensuring there is proper coverage in the facility at all times as structred.

• Previous housekeeping director experience preferred

We seek the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years of supervisory housekeeping/janitorial experience in a healthcare facility

• Must enjoy working with the senior population
