Qualifications

• 3+ years of senior housekeeping experience.

• Strong understanding of EVS including cleaning processes and use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily tasks of housekeeping department, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and arrange repairs as needed.
• Oversee department budget, inventory, and stock of cleaning supplies.
• Hire and train housekeeping staff to meet cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards.
• Keep records of cleaned areas and note any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests.

Job description

We’re hiring a housekeeping manager to provide excellent sanitation and customer service to our hotel guests. You’ll be responsible for leading the housekeeping staff, ensuring team members perform their job duties to our high standards, and keeping the housekeeping department well-stocked with cleaning supplies. Applicants should have hospitality experience, enjoy their work, and demonstrate a commitment to meeting and exceeding guest expectations. Previous experience in a supervisory role is required.

Compensation: $18 hourly

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent (GED)
• At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services
• Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department
• Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment
