Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Ogden is seeking a professional housekeeping manager to lead the housekeeping team and maintain a safe, clean environment for guests. You will ensure high sanitation standards, oversee the department budget, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years as executive housekeeper/housekeeping manager or similar.
• 2+ years in guest services or hospitality.
• Strong leadership, organization and customer service skills.
• EVS knowledge including cleaning processes and equipment usage.

Responsibilities

• Hire and train housekeeping staff to meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards.
• Adhere to department budget, oversee inventory, and order supplies.
• Track areas cleaned and coordinate with front desk for damages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is in working condition and arrange repairs as needed.
• Monitor daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas.

Job description

We’re looking for a professional, experienced housekeeping manager to perform impeccable housekeeping services and provide our guests with a safe and clean environment for an exceptional stay with us. You’ll lead the housekeeping team, ensure team members comply with high standards of cleanliness and sanitation protocol, and oversee the housekeeping department budget. Experience in a supervisory role overseeing housekeeping staff or a similar role is required. If you have excellent communication skills and leadership experience, we highly encourage you to apply.

Compensation: $16 hourly

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or GED is required
• Over 3 years of experience as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping manager, or similar
• Over 2 years of experience in guest services or hospitality
• Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills
• Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment

Responsibilities

• Handle the hiring and training of housekeeping staff so that they can achieve and exceed our standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to the department budget, oversee inventory, and order cleaning supplies
• Track of areas cleaned by room attendants and contact the front office to handle room damage or maintenance needs
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed
• Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas daily
