Overview
The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the Housekeeping Department, ensuring guest satisfaction through a clean, safe, and efficient environment, while managing expenses and maintaining service quality. Must be available for AM & PM shifts.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure all staff are attentive, friendly, and courteous to guests and colleagues.
2. Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly, following up for satisfaction.
3. Motivate, coach, and discipline staff according to hotel SOPs.
4. Maintain cleaning standards and equipment.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and risk management standards.
6. Manage large guestroom turnovers efficiently.
7. Conduct staff interviews, training, and inspections.
8. Assist with inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining documentation.
9. Handle emergencies and maintain communication with staff.
10. Monitor room status, out-of-order rooms, and VIP requests.
11. Participate in meetings, manage staff schedules, and ensure adherence to policies.
12. Maintain guest privacy, security, and overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree; or a combination of a 2-year degree and experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform medium work.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Attend all required meetings and participate in M.O.D. coverage.
