Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown’s Housekeeping and Laundry Departments. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while executing leadership tasks such as financials, payroll, and scheduling.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience, a passion for service, and strong communication and attention to detail. Brand hotel or upscale property experience is a plus in a fast-paced environment.

• Leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Experience with the brand hotel or upscale property is a plus.
• Strong communication and guest-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction through established processes.
• Maintain clean, well-maintained guestrooms, public spaces and staff areas.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• The Housekeeping Manager will oversee the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments
• Ensure compliance with processes and procedures for cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction
• Ensures property guestrooms, public space and employee areas are clean and well maintained
• Execute leadership tasks such as financials, payroll, scheduling, etc.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• A passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude
• An interest in training and developing future housekeeping leaders
• Excellent communication, listening skills, and a great eye for detail
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to any situation
• Ability to creatively problem solve and deliver results
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is required and experience with the specific brand hotel or upscale property is an added plus
