The Opportunity

The Housekeeping Manager oversees all aspects of housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This role leads a team, manages inventory, and collaborates with other departments to deliver outstanding service.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise, coach, and develop housekeeping staff, providing feedback and conducting reviews.
  • Inspect common areas, restrooms, and resident rooms to ensure cleanliness.
  • Complete room inspections and create work orders for deficiencies.
  • Maintain high standards in model apartments.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, ensuring proper stock and storage.
  • Verify deep cleaning during room turnovers to meet standards.
  • Use OnShift scheduling system to create weekly schedules within budget.
  • Respond promptly to resident concerns related to housekeeping.
  • Support sales by maintaining model apartments and assisting with tours.
What You’ll Bring
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Pass criminal background and drug screens.
  • 3+ years experience in housekeeping management, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of housekeeping, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with scheduling software like OnShift preferred.
