Job summary

Best Western Plus in Cranberry, PA is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping department and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our cleanliness standards. You will manage daily operations and uphold safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

You will also train staff, create schedules, perform inspections, and respond promptly to guest requests. The role requires flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a housekeeper, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a housekeeping department.
• Train staff, create staff schedules, and conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Enter guest rooms following procedure from for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms.
• Replace dirty linens and any other items with clean products.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties (e.g., in guest rooms and hallway).
