Job summary

Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, CA seeks a passionate Manager of Housekeeping to lead daily operations, uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, and drive guest satisfaction across a 440-room property.

You will manage staffing, procedures, and interdepartmental coordination while mentoring a team to deliver exceptional service and maintain Loews’ standard of excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and two years in housekeeping or guest service leadership.
  • Experience with Opera Property Management System preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes to attain maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public spaces meet high standards.
  • Analyze room turns and staffing needs, adjusting in real time to optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to drive efficiency and cleanliness.
  • Interview, hire, and mentor team members for growth and engagement.
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Oversee uniform and laundry services and ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead regular team meetings to share updates and address challenges.
  • Coach for continuous improvement and ensure adherence to standards.

What You'll Do :

  • Interview, hire, and mentor team members, fostering growth and engagement
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Oversee uniform and laundry services, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins, and address challenges
  • Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications Include :
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality and minimum of two (2) years housekeeping or guest service leadership experience required
  • Previous experience with Opera Property Management System preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective operating and control processes designed to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time required
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 25lbs

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $70,304.00 to $75,000.00.
