Job summary

Shenandoah Valley Westminster-Canterbury in Winchester, VA is seeking a Housekeeping and Linen Supervisor to oversee the Housekeeping and Linen Department within Environmental Services. This role directly supports the Senior Manager of Resident Experience and supervises staff.

Ideal candidate has an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, at least 1 year in housekeeping, and 2 years of management experience preferred, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or HS Diploma/GED with equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum one year of housekeeping experience.
• Minimum two years of management experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overall operations and activities within the Housekeeping and Linen Department.
• Assist with supervision, evaluation, training and development of staff.
• Maintain relations with staff, visitors, and residents; ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Coordinate with Senior Manager of Resident Experience with daily operations and coverage.
• Assist with budget development and monitoring for the Department.
• Perform housekeeping inspections across the community and oversee preventive maintenance.
