Job summary

Arbor Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring a sanitary, attractive, and orderly center.

The role requires supervisory experience in a commercial setting, knowledge of cleaning and laundry procedures, and a background in long-term care. The position is on site at our Fort Worth, TX facility and may involve floor coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across the center.
• Coordinate and schedule housekeeping programs and record-keeping systems.
• Train staff on cleaning, laundry, and safety procedures; inspect work for quality and compliance.
• Ensure environmental cleanliness for resident safety and comfort, coordinating with nursing and infection control.
• Organize shifts and arrange replacements during absences; manage interdepartmental communications.
