Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
• Knowledge of infection control and sanitation in long-term care.
• Genuine care and compassion for elderly and disabled individuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping and laundry team, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Create department schedules aligned with census and labor budgets.
• Order and manage supplies while maintaining budget controls.
• Perform and oversee cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Conduct routine inspections for sanitation and cleanliness compliance.
• Provide staff instruction on safe cleaning and laundry procedures.
• Ensure daily linen delivery, personal laundry service, and organized supply rooms.
