Job summary

Leonard Florence Center for Living is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor to lead and oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained resident areas.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of healthcare housekeeping experience, with supervisory skills preferred. Strong English communication is essential for daily coordination and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Housekeeping/Laundry in a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare setting required.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high quality and performance standards.
• Manage floor care, carpet cleaning, waste disposal, and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and safety standards through regular inspections and staff training.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resident satisfaction, address concerns, and perform additional duties as needed.
