Chelsea Jewish Lifecare in Chelsea, MA is seeking a Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor at Leonard Florence Center for Living. The role leads daily housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

You will supervise, train, and schedule staff, manage floor care, carpet cleaning, waste disposal, and inventory, and ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA standards through regular inspections.

Qualifications

Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor | Leonard Florence Center for Living, $81,000 - $86,000/annually, based on experience, Full-Time | 40hrs per week

• Lead and oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high quality and performance standards.
• Manage floor care, carpet cleaning, waste disposal, and inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and safety standards through regular inspections and staff training.
• Collaborate with other departments to support resident satisfaction, address concerns, and perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications for Success

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Housekeeping/Laundry in a hospital, long-term care, or healthcare setting required.
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written.
