Job summary

Leonard Florence Center for Living is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for the 3:00PM–11:00PM shift. This PRN role involves maintaining a clean, safe environment in resident rooms and common areas, performing dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and waste removal while following infection-control standards.

The ideal candidate will be at least 18, have housekeeping or senior living experience, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in housekeeping or senior living preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas, following established sanitation and infection-control standards.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste removal.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to facility policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Interact with residents in a respectful, courteous, and compassionate manner, supporting their comfort and dignity.
• Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns promptly to supervisors.
• Comply with all safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and community policies.
