Primary Purpose:

The Housekeeping Associate provides guests with an excellent room experience by ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation while delivering friendly, attentive, and timely service.

Work Performed:

The duties include but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and laundry according to protocols
• Removing used and unused linens and towels
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces and amenities
• Cleaning bathrooms, glass, mirrors, furniture, and equipment
• Replacing light bulbs and remaking beds
• Replenishing supplies and emptying wastebaskets
• Cleaning carpets, upholstery, and draperies
• Using approved cleaning chemicals
• Operating and maintaining storage areas and carts
• Maintaining cleanliness in all work areas
• Sorting laundry and using laundering equipment properly
• Inspecting public areas for cleanliness and disinfection
• Upholding quality standards and guest satisfaction metrics
• Training new associates and supporting performance development
• Performing deep cleaning and preventative maintenance
• Reporting damages, theft, and safety hazards
• Following safety policies and reporting issues
• Performing any other duties necessary for the role

Qualifications:

Preferred Prior Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping or relevant cleaning experience; prior customer service experience.

Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs regularly, bend, squat, walk, and stand for long periods.

Other Requirements: Flexibility to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
