Job summary

NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry team member to support environmental cleanliness and linen services, helping create a clean, comfortable environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, and partners.

You will perform room and area cleaning, manage linens, follow infection control standards, and report safety concerns to leadership. Competitive benefits and a flexible schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to follow housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or health care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and complete other routine housekeeping duties.
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.
• Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely.
• Restock supplies and help maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, safety, and NHC procedures.
• Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
