NHC HealthCare Anniston is hiring for housekeeping and laundry staff to maintain clean patient areas, linens, and facilities. You will follow infection control and safety procedures while working as part of a dedicated team in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes dependable, hardworking individuals with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior healthcare-related experience is preferred but not required, with comprehensive on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Previous housekeeping, laundry, or health care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and complete other routine housekeeping duties.
• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
• Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.
• Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely.
• Restock supplies and help maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow infection control, sanitation, safety, and NHC procedures.
• Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
