The Janitorial Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, restrooms, and back-of-house areas within the resort. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff. The Janitorial Attendant upholds the resort’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning Duties
  • Clean and sanitize public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and entrance areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors in public areas.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to resort policies.
  • Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring all supplies are replenished and facilities are spotless.
• Maintenance and Upkeep
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • May perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and unclogging drains.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Guest Interaction
  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Provide assistance and information to guests as needed.
• Inventory Management
  • Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and restock janitorial closets as necessary.
