Job summary

Arizona Charlie’s Decatur, part of Arizona Charlie's, LLC, is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the property. You will conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas and lead pre-shift briefings.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years housekeeping experience, strong communication and teamwork, the ability to follow instructions, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Train Guest Room Attendants, House Persons, and Utility Porters on housekeeping procedures, chemical safety, and proper equipment usage.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate expectations and daily priorities to housekeeping staff.
• Monitor supply inventories, control usage, and ensure proper storage and reporting of materials.
• Oversee equipment usage and cleanliness, and coordinate maintenance requests for furnishings, fixtures, and machinery.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain cleaning schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally push/pull up to 70lbs
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 70lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
• Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
• Frequently standing and walking

• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
