Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure unit cleanliness and proper setup across resort locations. The role includes coordinating with room attendants, supporting supervisors, and maintaining high standards of professional conduct.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, prior housekeeping or supervisory experience, and strong communication and multitasking skills. The position emphasizes energy, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Drive to improve quality of work and guest satisfaction.
• Capable of working with little supervision and taking ownership.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspect assigned units to ensure cleanliness and correct setup.
• Coordinate with room attendants to address missed areas.
• Assist housekeeping supervisors and promote team cooperation.
• Inform supervisors about areas needing attention and provide clear instructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Note: responsibilities may vary by resort location.

The Housekeeping Inspector inspects all units to ensure cleanliness for all future guests and Owners.

What you're great at:

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Thoroughly inspects assigned units to ensure complete cleanliness and set up
• Checks the assigned units to ensure proper cleaning
• Calls room attendant to clean any area that was missed or not properly cleaned
• Aids the Housekeeping Supervisors in promoting a cooperative spirit among the housekeepers
• AlertsSupervisor/Manager to areas that need further attention and to housekeepers that need further instructions in certain areas
• Performs all other duties as assigned
