Job summary

Capital Vacations is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector in Westerly, RI. The role focuses on inspecting units for cleanliness and proper setup, and coordinating with room attendants to address missed areas.

You will support supervisors to maintain high housekeeping standards across resort locations. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and prior housekeeping or supervisory experience, with an energetic approach and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior housekeeping/supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask and maintain quality under pressure.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspects assigned units to ensure complete cleanliness and setup.
• Checks assigned units to verify proper cleaning.
• Calls room attendant to clean areas missed or not cleaned properly.
• Assists Supervisors in promoting a cooperative spirit among housekeepers.
• Alerts Supervisor/Manager to areas needing attention and guidance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
