Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain the highest cleaning standards across resort properties and unit interiors, ensuring owners and guests enjoy safe, clean, and attractive accommodations with friendly and attentive service. You will lead a team, schedule daily work, train staff in laundry and housekeeping, and coordinate with other departments to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement.
• Minimum of two years experience as a housekeeping supervisor.
• Demonstrable leadership skills.
• Flexibility needed for scheduling purposes.
• High energy with a passion for housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, linen replacement, laundry, and inventory management of housewares.
• Establishes an employee work schedule and plans daily work assignments.
• Trains and coaches staff in laundry and housekeeping.
• Checks equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
• Cooperates with housekeeping staff and other departments to provide quality service.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas and inventories.
• Responds quickly to guest requests and inspects units daily.
• Follows all company policies and OSHA guidelines.

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the storage area
• Orders cleaning materials and maintains a budget
• Responds quickly to requests from guests and other departments
• Inspects units daily
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Practices safe working conditions under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines, including Bloodborne Pathogens
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the team
• Counsels and disciplines employees
• All other duties as assigned
