Job summary

Salamander Middleburg is seeking Full-Time Housepersons for our 5 Star Housekeeping department. You will support and service room attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel, performing general cleaning, stocking linen, waste management, and inventory monitoring to ensure seamless guest experiences.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow written or verbal instructions in a fast-paced hotel environment. Excellent teamwork and guest-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks using standard hotel products to adhere to health standards.
• Stocking: Maintain linen closets to meet minimum par levels.
• Waste Management: Remove trash and dirty linen from cleaning carts and linen rooms.
• Cleanliness Maintenance: Monitor and clean trash from rooms as needed, moving items to designated pickup points.
• Supply Management: Replace vacuum bags and assist in restocking linen carts.
• Inventory Monitoring: Track consumption and order replacements for guest and cleaning supplies.
• Furniture Movement: Move furniture, supplies, and equipment as directed by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Special Requests: Handle unexpected spills and execute special guest requests as needed.
