Job summary

Omega Senior Living Llc is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain clean common areas and resident apartments. Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, trash removal, and laundry as needed.

Must follow safety procedures for cleaning agents and work well with residents and staff. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Requires one year of prior experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning agents and mixtures.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, family, visitors, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Cleans daily main common areas and offices by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and washing windows.
• Cleans residents' apartments including bathrooms, trash, dusting and vacuuming.
• Cleans public restrooms and employee breakrooms.
• Vacuums hallways and front lobby as scheduled or as needed.
• Empty trash in offices daily.
• Performs general building cleaning and dusting of baseboards and fixtures.
• Performs laundry duties as needed.

General DescriptionPerforms light cleaning duties to maintain all common areas and designated resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, general upkeep, linen change out, and trash removal. Additional duties may include laundry services and providing cleaning following spills and accidents.Essential Duties:Provides daily cleaning of main common areas and offices to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and windows.Cleans residents’ apartments to include bathroom, toilets, trash, dusting and vacuuming.Cleans public restrooms and employee breakroom.Vacuums halls and front lobby as required by schedule or as needed.Responsible for emptying trash in offices daily.Building cleaning as needed to include baseboards, ceiling light fixtures, and other hard to reach/access areas.Responsible for keeping the furniture in common areas clean and free of dust and clutter.Perform laundry functions as needed.Benefits:Advance Pay- Don’t wait for payday, Treat yourself today!
