Job summary

Omega Senior Living Llc is seeking a reliable housekeeping aide to perform daily cleaning of common areas and residents' rooms at our Seward, NE community. The role includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and basic laundry as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and resident comfort.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping. Prior work in AL, IL, or SNF setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions accurately.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, staff and public.
• Follow written and oral instructions regarding cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Experience in commercial or institutional housekeeping is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of common areas and resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and trash removal.
• Clean bathrooms and restrooms; empty trash in offices and public spaces.
• Maintain clean, orderly furniture and fixtures in common areas; respond to spills and accidents.
• Perform light laundry tasks as needed.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation procedures and assist with supply replenishment.

General DescriptionPerforms light cleaning duties to maintain all common areas and designated resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, general upkeep, linen change out, and trash removal. Additional duties may include laundry services and providing cleaning following spills and accidents.Essential Duties:Provides daily cleaning of main common areas and offices to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and windows.Cleans residents’ apartments to include bathroom, toilets, trash, dusting and vacuuming.Cleans public restrooms and employee breakroom.Vacuums halls and front lobby as required by schedule or as needed.Responsible for emptying trash in offices daily.Building cleaning as needed to include baseboards, ceiling light fixtures, and other hard to reach/access areas.Responsible for keeping the furniture in common areas clean and free of dust and clutter.Perform laundry functions as needed.Benefits:Advance Pay- Don’t wait for payday, Treat yourself today!
