Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Housekeeping Floor Manager for Park MGM in Las Vegas. You will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and service across the property, ensuring high standards and efficient operations in a luxury resort environment.

You will oversee daily housekeeping activities, support team members, and contribute to a guest experience that reflects MGM Resorts' world-class service and elegance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of prior relevant experience in housekeeping and/or hotel management.
• Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations, safety guidelines, chemical handling, BIOHAZARD materials and injury prevention.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
• Conduct daily briefings and schedule meetings with assigned team members.
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, lobbies, and assigned public areas.
• Perform daily written guest room inspections and frequent visual inspections.
• Monitor team productivity and report performance concerns to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Distribute workloads fairly among team members.
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, and discipline related to performance and policies.

Join the team as a Housekeeping Floor Manager at Park MGM, where you’ll lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and service throughout the property. In this role, you’ll oversee daily housekeeping operations within assigned areas, ensuring high standards are maintained and operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Working in a fast-paced luxury resort environment, you’ll support team members, uphold departmental standards, and help create an outstanding guest experience that reflects the world-class service and elegance of the property.

The Day-to-day

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist Guest Room Attendants and House Persons
• Conduct daily briefings and schedule meetings with assigned team members
• Ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, lockers, lobbies, and assigned public areas in accordance with department standards
• Perform daily written guest room inspections and frequent visual inspections of guest rooms and public areas
• Monitor team productivity and communicate any performance concerns or areas below standards to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper
• Distribute workloads fairly and evenly among assigned team members
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, counseling, and discipline related to job performance, guest service, and department policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience in a related field, preferably Housekeeping and/or Hotel Management
• Knowledgeable with OSHA regulations, to include implementation and enforcement of safety guidelines, proper chemical usage, handling of BIOHAZARD materials, and injury prevention
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
