Job summary

IHG Hotels seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Support Associate to assist on assigned floors, delivering linens and supplies, and helping with linen transport to the laundry. The role involves lifting and moving items and supporting room attendants throughout shifts.

Applicants should be able to speak English, follow safety protocols, and work nights or weekends if required. We offer a benefits package including PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and other eligible perks.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience and ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Deliver linens and other supplies to room attendants.
• Remove dirty linen from assigned carts and transport to laundry.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; remove trash and wipe shelves/counters.
• Respond to guests' requests for housekeeping supplies in a timely manner.
• Clean designated public areas and restrooms on assigned floors.
• Report to supervisor any repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action.
• Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste; promote teamwork with other departments.
• May collect newspapers for recycling and assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
