Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeping Utility Worker to keep community spaces clean and orderly. You will clean floors and surfaces, set up rooms for events, handle waste, and assist with moving heavy items.

The role is full-time and benefits eligible, with compensation commensurate with experience at $17–$18 per hour. Onsite facilities and a team-focused culture support personal growth and job satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in carpet care and floor finishing techniques is preferred.
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment, and any other equipment necessary for the cleanliness of the community.
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member.
• May be required to maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of employment.
• Must have a history of safe driving as noted through a Motor Vehicle Record check, if driving is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the community through the operation of specialized equipment.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste.
• Utilize work orders to ensure proper room/furniture setups.
• Assist with movement and delivery of heavy objects/packages.
• Remove trash including, refuse and recycling.
• Maintain hard floor surfaces, including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing as well as carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.
