Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking an organized Dispatcher for Housekeeping to serve as the communication hub between departments and keep operations running smoothly. You’ll coordinate requests, update room statuses, and help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, welcoming environment.

The role requires clear communication, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset. Prior hotel or resort experience is preferred, with ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk throughout shift.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and radio communications between housekeeping and other departments.
• Dispatch tasks to appropriate team members, updating room statuses promptly.
• Track and update room status logs to inform Front Office and other departments.
• Monitor room assignments and coordinate with Front Desk to ensure rooms are ready for check-in.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when necessary.
• Maintain professional guest relations and assist guests as needed.
