Job description

We’re searching for an experienced housekeeping manager to ensure our hotel is impeccably clean for our guests. You will lead our housekeeping team, ensure their work meets our high standards of cleanliness, and go above and beyond guest expectations to achieve that “wow” factor for repeat business. Responsibilities:

1. Order cleaning supplies as needed, control inventory and manage the department budget
2. Keep a record of areas cleaned by room attendants and make a note of any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests
3. Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas
4. Arrange for cleaning equipment repairs as needed and keep all other equipment in good working condition
5. Handle the hiring and training of housekeeping staff so that they can achieve and exceed our standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

1. A High school diploma or GED is required
2. Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills
3. 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
4. Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment
5. 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience

Compensation:

$17 - $19.50 hourly
